The following sensors are measuring water quality parameters on the seawater supplied to the MLML Aquaculture Center:

Seabird Electronics SBE19
Seabird is the world's largest developer and manufacturer of instruments used to measure oceanographic parameters. This unit measures seawater temperature and salinity with very high precision and accuracy.
This unit was last calibrated by SeaBird on May 13, 2015 and has been deployed since October 1, 2015.

Aanderra Oxygen Optode
Aanderra optode are some of the fastest, most accurate and robust, dissolved oxygen sensors on the market today. This unit measures absolute dissolved oxgyen concentration and %saturation.
Dissolved oxygen (reported here in micromoles per liter) refers to the amount of gaseous oxygen dissolved in liquid. This is important for organisms, such as fish and invertebrates, that respire oxygen from the water.
This unit was last calibrated on May 29, 2015 and has been deployed since June 11, 2015.

Honeywell DurafetIII pH Electrode
This probe has proven to be a leading stand-alone sensor for measuring pH in shallow seawater. This unit measures pH, which is important for understanding the acidity of seawater given ongoing research into the effects of ocean acidification. This unit was calibrated and deployed on April 9, 2016.

Tide Height
Tide heights (in feet relative to mean lower low water) are acquired from the nearest NOAA tide gauge located in Monterey Harbor, CA.
