TIPPING BUCKET/RAIN GAUGE
Manufactured By: Texas Electronics

This sensor consists of a gold anodized aluminum collector funnel with a knife edge that diverts the water to a tipping bucket mechanism.
The mechanism is so designed that one alternate tip of the bucket occurs for each 0.01 inch of rainfall. The spent water drains out of the
bottom of the housing, so, the sensor requires no attention or servicing of any sort. The aluminum housing is covered with a white baked
enamel surface to withstand years of exposure to the environment. This sensor is factory calibrated, and due to the nature of its operation,
should not require field calibration. Occasional cleaning of debris from the filter screen may be required.
